Oleg Skripochka is a veteran of two previous long-duration missions to the International Space Station: Expeditions 25/26 in 2010-2011 and Expeditions 47/48 in 2016. During his first trip to space, Skripochka conducted three spacewalks (or EVAs), installing equipment and conducting maintenance to the Russian segment of the Station. He has accumulated 331 days 12 hours and 30 minutes in space. This will be his third long-duration spaceflight.
