Jenny Hautmann for Supercluster
A few of the Supercluster team's remote pad cameras, placed pretty close to Starship Super Heavy inside the security fence at the launch site, have yet to be retrieved. It's likely they did not survive the fire and brimstone that engulfed the area as the massive rocket flew off the pad.
During the 4/20 launch, our team was at a safe distance (about 5 miles) and captured spectacular images of Starship's liftoff, flight, and eventual self-destruction. One of Erik Kuna's cameras placed just outside the launch site took the remote shot seen below but may never work again.
