Evan is an engineer, investor, and Managing Member of Dick Holdings, LLC., and flew onboard NS-19 on December 11, 2021. 

Evan formerly served as Senior Vice President for D.E. Shaw and Managing Director of Highbridge Capital Management, and he is a charitable supporter of the Darwin Foundation and Population Relief International Corp. 

Evan is an ATP-rated pilot and volunteer for Starfighters Aerospace, as well as an avid sailor and motorcyclist.

NS-21

Blue Origin launched its 5th crewed suborbital mission. The NS-21 marks the first time a New Shepard passenger flew for a second time and ferried the first Mexican-born and youngest woman to fly to space as well as the second Brazilian to travel to space.

Named after the first American to reach space, Alan Shepard, the New Shepard rocket is powered at both launch and landing by a single Blue Origin-developed engine.

Blue Origin will launch its third crewed suborbital mission. Passengers include Good Morning America's Michael Strahan and Laura Shepard Churchley, the eldest daughter of Alan Shepard, who was the first American to fly to space.
