Lane Bess is the Principal and Founder of Bess Ventures and Advisory, a family fund supporting technology firms that innovate and disrupt across multiple market sectors.

From an early age, he dreamed of space travel, but as a child could only appreciate it through launching model rockets. He is thrilled to finally live his dream.

Lane is best known for having helped start and build two of the most important cybersecurity companies in the public markets today.

He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Managerial Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Outside of work and philanthropy, he enjoys traveling the world and sailing.
