Jesús González Calleja (born April 11, 1965, in Fresno de la Vega, León) is a Spanish mountaineer, adventurer, astronaut, and television presenter. He has climbed Mount Everest (8,848 m) and completed the Seven Summits (the highest mountains on each continent, including North America and Antarctica). He is also a pilot of both airplanes and the Robinson R44 helicopter. He hosts documentary programs such as Volando Voy and Planeta Calleja on the Cuatro network and co-owns the production company Zanskar with María Ruiz Calzado. In 2025, he will embark on a spaceflight with Blue Origin aboard the New Shepard spacecraft, making him the third Spanish astronaut in history to travel to space, following Miguel López-Alegría and Pedro Duque.
