Shenzhou-19

China launched a crew of three to spend six months at the Tiangong Space Station.

Shenzhou is a Soyuz-derived spacecraft built and flown by China. Larger than its Russian counterpart, Shenzhou is made up of three parts. Like Soyuz, only the reentry module with the crew survives reentry and landing.

Born in March 1990, Wang is currently China's only female flight engineer and will become the third Chinese woman to embark on a crewed spaceflight mission. Before being selected as a member of China's third batch of astronauts, Wang used to work at the Academy of Aerospace Propulsion Technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation as a senior engineer. Cai Xuzhe is a Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps taikonaut selected as part of the Shenzhou program. He was selected to be an astronaut in 2010.

Shenzhou 14

China launched its 3rd crewed mission to its Tiangong space station. The crew will spend six months overseeing a large expansion of Tiangong with the addition of two new science and habitation modules named Wentian and Mengtian.
